Clinical Errors – words only 171012

It is estimated that adverse outcomes occur as frequently as 1 in 10 hospital encounters.  About half of them may be preventable.  In the busy everyday practice of clinicians, errors are unevitable, as we are all humans only.

Efforts are spent on dissection of causes of error in bedside clinical work.  A powerpoint presentation was made in 2010.  I hope colleagues find it useful.
